BECKY ABBOTT: I am the founder, owner & dance instructor & I grew up in Salmon, Idaho.  When I was 3 I wanted to take dance, but the nearest dance class was 3 1/2 hours away in Idaho Falls.  It was my mom that sacrificed her time and drove me 7 hours round trip to Idaho Falls each week to take dance.  By age 5, I knew that "when I grew up I wanted to be a dance teacher!"  I took dance classes for 18 years - ballet, tap, modern, jazz and clogging - before opening my 1st studio in my garage in Middleton.  I had 80 students that 1st year & have grown to well over 150 students.  My specialty is clogging & jazz. I have taught in Middleton since 2000.  I have 4 daughters and 2 sons and just opened a new studio in Middleton.

JEFF WILLS: I am 21 years old and was born and raised in Kuna and I am an alumni of Kuna High School. I started clogging at the age of 5, having a little pressure from my mom, but from there on I feel in love with it. And went on to clog at a competition level for 11 years. I also have Jazz experience at the college level, performing in a college jazz production at the University of Idaho. I have always had a love for dance and for kids. I coached my little sister for two years on a youth basketball team in Kuna, and worked 3 summers at Roaring Springs as a Lifeguard. I just returned from a two year religious LDS mission in Portugal. Upon returning I have joined a Ballroom dance team at BSU known as Del Sol. I guess I just can't get enough of dance. I am very excited at the opportunity to once again be involved with clogging, and very excited at the opportunity to work with Becky at helping other youth fall in love with dance as I did at their age.

JENNI STEPHENSON:  I was born and raised in Boise, ID.   I started dancing when I was 4 years old in ballet and tap.  As I grew up I continued to dance ballet, tap, jazz and pointe.  In high school I was on the Capital High Golden Girls and danced at a local studio.  I then went on to study dance at Ricks College in Rexburg Idaho.  There I studied Modern, Ballet, Tap, Folk and Ballroom.  I was on the dance team ‘Style’ my last semester there.   I have danced a semester on the Ballroom team DelSol and danced two years of Irish dance.  I am thrilled to be teaching ballet at this studio.  I hope that I can pass a little of my love for dance on to my students.

Hi!  My name is Shelly and I will be the coach of your inspiring gymnast(s).  I am excited to have this opportunity not only to coach, but  to also build self esteem and self awareness of your child’s athletic abilities.  Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I reside and work as a Certified Massage Therapist in Middleton.  I have 2 children ages 15 and 11.  In my spare time I love to garden, fish and hang with family and friends.  I started gymnastics in Montana when I was just 3 yrs. old and continued until the age of 17.  I traveled and competed in Montana, Wyoming, Oregon, Washington, Canada and Idaho.  I began coaching at the age to 18 at Y.M.C.A and the Great Falls Gymnastics Center.  Then shortly after I move to Idaho in 1991, I coached at World of Gymnastics in Nampa.  Just 2 years ago I coached at Bronco Elite in Boise.  At all those locations I taught Preschool through level 4 classes.   I will do the best to my ability to insure your child gets the best training to meet their individual needs.

RICHARD GAONA:  I have been involved in dance since the age of 8.  I have been in a number of performances ranging from swing dance to hip hop.  I really enjoy dancing, it is a great thrill to have accomplished a dance that everyone can enjoy.  This year I intend to not only teach my students a dance, but improve their dancing skills and give them a new appreciation for the art of dance.  The class is designed to have fun, make new friends while learning a new dance.  If you don’t get something, have questions or concerns, feel free to ask, I am willing to spend some extra time to help you.  Just remember to have fun and always try your hardest.
